My first attempt at using Chat GPT to create a comic book. The characters are actual photos of myself and my friends in Steampunk attire. I wrote the script and directions for the backgrounds. Chat did a pretty good job but with many limitations. I had to break the story into 4 chapters of 4 pages each. The speech bubbles are not very accurate. If I had too much script for the limitations of the chapters, it made it's own changes. Still the main story is there. Since it's a graphic novel, the graphics are far better than I hoped. I ran this script several times forcing me to buy a chat upgrade but I'm still working on the first free month.

Trip of a lifetime for an event of a lifetime. One of the many places I have always wanted to visit is Lake Louise in Alberta Canada. Ever since the very first time I heard of it I wanted to go. Retired at 55 - My Experiment in Early Retirement

Five weeks into retirement and I've finally slowed down enough to do the thing I promised myself I would do day one. Sort through my box of memories. I can not tell you how many times I was asked how long it will take to be bored in retirement. Multiple times by a few friends and family. My close friends never asked. They already knew the answer. Maybe some perspective is in order. I first conceived of the notion of retiring at 55 when I was 25. My boss at the time told me exactly how to accomplish this goal and it made perfect sense. He died of cancer and never really got to live the dream he helped me visualize. My first hard look at the fragility of life.    I had some annual financial goals in mind to make this happen. Chimney Rock, North Carolina will always be a mystical, magical place in my life. When my parents decided to move to Florida from Pennsylvania in 1978, I was in no way enthusiastic about it. Even though I've lived near the beach all these many years, I still feel more at home in the mountains. After I graduated college in 1982,  I was well on my way to launching my career a few years later. I decided to take my parents on a little vacation. I was making some pretty good money, no college debt, and living at home so I was banking most of it. We traveled up Florida, Georgia, and went as far north as this park in North Carolina.
